JUst so you know, usually you can't immune a computer against viruses, most just change form every time you reboot the ocmputer,

What I was going to say, was go to Start --> Then the Top where you icon is and the name of the user -->Click on the back arrow-->Click 'Create a New Account' -->Create a new account for yourself

Well, that is what I did when that happened to me once ,and everything cleared up, after that I think you could delete your old account after making sure most of the data is still there

Hope that helps

Actually, that's one of the best ideas, rather than just restoring the computer.

I think, I could make a new account, then transfer all the files through the :C drive into the new account..

DAMN that might work!!!

Btw [CA], my computer is not facing any defects, problems, etc., running perfectly fine.

I'll try this over the weekend, too much work during the weekdays.

[EDIT]:

Scratch that, I dunno how I can get all my favorites over there.

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

Here's an idea, Kenny's idea seems to work but you want your favorites correct? Well write the links down on a peice of paper, go to all the websites when your done then add them when you go to them, either that or go without them.
WoW Legion Ending - Thank you Darker for making this into one, big incredible gif! <3

If you do that you might as well transfer the file that is infected ...
If I were in your shoes I wouldn't take that risk!
But that's just me. ;)

Like I said, no files were infected. It wasn't a virus/spyware, I know of that.

I ran 8 spyware programs, and didn't pick up anything new.

I'm going to try this today. I found a way to send my favorites to my documents.

Will my added favorites be erased, the ones I added after this happened?

How could they crash your PC?

Ur fav wont be earased nothing will cause i did it a bunch a times. Maybe some progams that you downloaded that day will be earased and your desktop them will be the same thing the day you put your date back. System Restor is to set back a time were you left your computer when it was working propelry cause mine sometimes messes up and i do a system restor to my computer. So if you have any more questions ill be sure to help with.
